Washington Insights articles

In May 2021, Washington’s Planning Board adopted a Town Plan at a public hearing. From there, a Steering Committee was formed to explore ways the town could move forward on priorities that were outlined. That committee includes appointees from the Planning Board, Finance Committee, and the Select Board. They have been joined by a volunteer group of committed residents.

Several members felt it important to try to engage all town residents in the conversations and keep folks abreast of the kinds of issues and conversations that the committee is exploring.

These Washington Insights articles are intended to serve that purpose as well as to help residents understand town government operations. There will also be articles that highlight the assets of Washington as described in the Marketing & Communication goals of the Town Plan.

Washington Insights are distributed with the monthly Tracks newsletter and also published here. You can find recent articles in the News & Announcements section.
