Free Community Concert at Old Town Hall, June 22

The Massachusetts Walking Tour (MWT) will be stopping in Washington on Wednesday, June 22, at 6:00 p.m. to perform a free community concert at the Old Town Hall on Washington Mountain Rd.

This year, the MWT is walking long the Appalachian Trail, terminating each leg of the journey with a community concert. Starting on June 17, the tour will travel from Sheffield, through Egremont, Great Barrington, Tyringham, Lee, Washington, Dalton, Cheshire, Adams, and winding up in North Adams.

The MWT is sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and their stop in Washington is funded in part by a grant from our local Cultural Council. Find more information about each day’s hike and concert at their website: https://masswalkingtour.org/home/2022-tour/

For those attending just the concert at Old Town Hall, please plan to park along West Branch Rd and the Town Common across the way, so as not to create a traffic hazard on Washington Mountain Rd.
