Free At-home COVID-19 Tests Available
The federal government has made free at-home COVID-19 rapid tests available to all residents through a new web-based ordering platform which launched today.
Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests. The tests are completely free. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days.
You can place your order online at www.COVIDtests.gov.
The process is pretty simple. Click the blue button to go to the Ordering page. Enter your Contact info and Shipping Address, then click the green Check Out Now button to place your order. (Don’t worry, the cost remains $0.00 through the entire process.) That’s it.
Four tests per household is not a lot, however. The Select Board continues to explore possibilities for procuring additional tests for Washington residents. It looks like a long-shot right now, because efforts to collaborate with other towns to gain more purchasing power and meet minimums have not panned out.
