911 House Numbers

Massachusetts General Laws C. 148, S. 59. specifies that every building in the state must have clearly visible address numbers posted.  Is your house number clearly visible from the street?  Please review this publication from the Office of the State Fire Marshall to be sure you are in compliance.

The fire department has official 911 signs available for purchase. The town currently has an initiative underway to provide 911 signs at no cost to residents. Please contact the Town Administrator for more details.
