Collins Center Report on Municipal Operations & Organization

In November 2021, the Select Board used a State Best Practices grant to hire the Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management to analyze the Town’s operations and organization.

The grant request was to have an outside review conducted of our financial functions as well as our overall administrative structure to evaluate strengths and weaknesses, with the aim of identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Specifically, town leadership wished to explore whether and how the Town might be better served by introducing a Town Administrator.
