Property Tax Exemptions

Property tax exemptions are available to certain individuals as defined by state law. An exemption relieves a taxpayer from the legal obligation to pay all or a part of the tax assessed. Exemptions are found in various clauses of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 59, Section 5.
